CHINESE LION & DRAGON WORKSHOPS

Chinese culture workshops and activities are available for Schools, organisations and businesses large or small.

Each workshop lasts up to one hour with discounts on multiple workshops / activities.

ADULTS LAU GAR KUNG FU

Manchester Lau Gar Kung Fu Class is every Wednesday

at 8:10pm to 9:10pm

at the Wellington Mill on Duke Street Castlefield/Deansgate.

Free taster session available to try, then monthly Membership is required to encourage regular practice.

Membership £50 per month.

Kung Fu Licence is £25 for the year cover.

KIDS KUNG FU CLASS

Kids Kung Fu Class for ages 8yrs+

Fridays 5pm till 6pm in Sale at the Scout Hut Venue on Springfield road.

Free trial session, then block booking when signing up for Membership/Kung Fu Licence.

5 sessions = £35

10 sessions = £60

Additional cost of £25 per year for the Student Kung Fu License

ALTRINCHAM CLASSES

Located at the Jubilee Community Centre in Bowdon/Altrincham next to the Bowdon Rooms on the Firs.

Mondays: Chinese Health Qigong 6pm - 7pm

Thursdays: Tai Chi for Health 1:30pm - 2:30pm

This class is suitable for total beginners of all ages and levels of physical fitness.

CHINESE NEW YEAR 2022

After the Two years pandemic, it was great to get some normality back to our training and organising indoor and outdoor events. Congratulations to all students that participated in the Chinese New Year demonstrations in Manchester China Town. A great day full of Chinese arts and culture, see you next year.

During lockdown measures we have adapted to online Zoom sessions to help students continue with their practice and self development from home, helping to maintain physical fitness and mental health during a difficult time.

We have a monthly membership set up for zoom only or block booking classes is also available. any questions please contact us.

SUPPORTING NHS WORKERS

We are happy to offer free Tai Chi & Qigong sessions for NHS staff to help with Physical Mental and Emotional stress, every monday 6pm till 6:50pm

CHINA TOWN CLASSES CLOSED

UPDATE OF CHANGES

as from 31st October 2020.

The Tai Chi Centre HQ in China Town has fully closed its doors due to the pandemic and has fully moved online.

Grandmaster Liming Yue has moved to Edinburgh Scotland and will no longer base the Tai Chi Centre HQ in China Town Manchester for the foreseeable future.

Sifu Jamal Alek offers indoor classes in Castlefield/Deansgate Manchester, Sale M33, Altrincham/Bowdon.
